Description
Description
Effortlessly remove gel polish with this Gel Polish Nail Scraper Tool. Featuring a precision stainless steel triangular blade and ergonomic handle, it easily removes soaked off and softened gel polish without damaging your natural nails. Suitable for at-home use, this durable and easy to clean tool is great for doing it yourself.
This tool can be used as a cuticle pusher too.
Using this scraper tool is pretty straightforward, but it’s important to follow the right steps to avoid damaging your nails.
Directions for use:
You’ll need:
- Gel remover scraper tool
- Acetone or gel polish remover
- Nail buffer or file
- Cotton balls or pads
- Aluminium foil (optional)
- A cuticle pusher (optional)
Prepare Your Nails:
Start by trimming your nails (if necessary) and gently filing the surface of the gel polish to break the seal. This will help the remover penetrate the gel better.
Soften the Gel:
Soak a cotton ball or pad with acetone or a dedicated gel remover and place it directly on your nails. You can wrap your fingers with aluminium foil to hold the cotton in place or use a plastic wrap if you prefer. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes to allow the gel to soften.
Scrape Off the Gel:
After the gel has softened, take the scraper tool and gently slide it under the gel starting from the edge or cuticle. Avoid applying too much pressure, as this can damage your natural nail. Use the scraper to lift and peel the gel off in small sections. Work slowly, so you don’t accidentally scratch your nail surface.
Repeat If Necessary:
If the gel doesn't come off easily, you can re-soak the nails in acetone for a few more minutes and try again.
Clean Up:
Once all the gel has been removed, gently push back the cuticles using the top end, and give your nails a light buff to smooth them out. Apply a nourishing cuticle oil or hand cream to hydrate your nails and skin.
